to keep people hodl‘ing, they’ve got “SmartRewards“, hold over 1000 coins and earn a portion of block rewards in proportion to how much you holding. Price right now (June 2018) is $0.09 or so, which means you can buy in for about $90.
The enticing bit about buying into staking positions is not that you’re going to get good returns now, it’s when the value “moons”, and suddenly $90 seed means you earning tens of dollars a month in a few years times. Obviously, you can’t KNOW it will moon, and the currency may lose value altogether, but I’m betting on Blockchain for the moment.
