Gymnast
Every swing, release and landing is real physics.
Gymnast is a physics-only high-bar game. Play with one thumb or two: fold at the hips, reach with the arms, and swap sides to suit your hands. Build up from a first swing to giants, flyaways and tricks, unlock fourteen different bodies, and train each one from scratch.

What's in it
Real physics, no animation
The gymnast is a jointed body in a physics simulation. Nothing is keyframed: you change how the joints push, and the rest is physics.
Fourteen gymnasts
From the athletic starter to a lanky stork, a gorilla and a marble statue. Each one is unlocked with coins and trained separately from novice strength.
Tricks you can name
The game recognises giants, handstands, pirouettes, Kovacs, flyaways and somersaults, and names them the gymnastics way: "Double pike", "Full-twisting layout".
Career and venues
Earn coins from achievements, buy strength upgrades, and train in the Street Gym, the Jungle or a stadium.
Slow-motion replays
Every run ends with a replay that slows down at the release, the catch, the twists and the touchdown.
Tutorial and coach
Each control is shown on a still hang first. An advanced tutorial walks you through the big moves with a coach calling them out.
Controls
Simple enough for anyone to have a go. Deep enough to keep you training.
- One thumb or two
- Play the whole game with a single thumb, or bring in the second when you are ready. Your phone, your grip, your call.
- Swappable sides
- Flip the controls to whichever side suits you. Left-handed, right-handed or one hand free, nobody gets left out.
- Fold and reach
- Everything comes down to two ideas: fold your body and reach for the bar. Easy to learn in seconds, satisfying to master.
- Two thumbs, more tricks
- Use both thumbs and the showpiece moves open up, from pirouettes on top of the bar to full-twisting dismounts.
Free to play. Never interrupted.
Ads stay out of your way, so the bar is all yours.
- No adverts during a run
- No pop-ups, no pauses, no surprise videos. From your first swing to your landing, the screen belongs to you.
- Videos only when you ask
- Nobody makes you watch a video ad. If you want double coins, you can choose to watch one. If you skip it, nothing else changes.
- Small, quiet banners
- A slim banner sits on the menus, the end-of-run screen and replays. It never covers the action.
Questions
Is it free?
Yes. Gymnast is free to download and free to play, and you never have to pay to enjoy it. If you want to support the game, there are two optional one-time purchases. No Banner Adverts removes the menu banner and changes nothing else. Unlock All unlocks every gymnast and venue at full strength and includes No Banner Adverts. Prices are shown in the store in your currency. Restore Purchases is in the shop and in Options if you change devices.
What platforms?
Android first. iPhone and iPad will follow. The game is landscape, built for phones.
Do I need an account?
No. Progress is saved on your device. See the privacy policy for details.
Is it suitable for children?
It is made for a general audience rather than for young children. The game shows ads through Unity, which may be personalised. See the privacy policy for details and your choices.
